"select <argument>" |
<argument> can be an atom name (full name,
not chemical symbol), a base (A, C, T, G, U), an amino acid
(3-letter abbreviation), a group (like hem = heme group), or "all" to
cancel selection. To select more than one thing, e.g. all C-G pairs, separate arguments with a comma ("select C, G") |
"show sequence" |
shows linear sequence of bases or amino acids
(primary structure) |
changing view |
use DISPLAY menu for changing between
ball-and-stick, wireframe, cartoons, etc. If you have atoms or
groups selected, the changes will only affect those atoms (for example,
I like to leave it on wireframe, select the group(s) I'm interested in,
then select "Ball and
Stick" to make the selected groups stand out) |
